Examples include The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member, Dr. Wendy Osefo, and The Real Housewives of Dallas star, LeeAnne Locken. However, since most of the attention is on the RHOBH women, here are three Beverly Hills stars whose confessionals are thought to be disingenuous.
Erika Jayne
RHOBH fans aren’t happy with Erika for a multitude of reasons, and many are surprised that she is still a part of the Real Housewives, despite her highly-publicized legal battles. While Erika is undoubtedly one of the most fashionable people to appear on RHOBH, Redditors are convinced that Erika’s confessional quips are written by other people. Many users believe that Erika’s creative director Mikey has something to do with Erika’s interviews behind the scenes, with one person commenting, “I feel [like Erika] is not nearly so good with words and sharp witted in day to day filming as she is in confessionals. “
Dorit Kemsley
As with Erika, RHOBH fans aren’t convinced that Dorit comes up with her own confessional material. Not only do Dorit’s interviews sound overly rehearsed to viewers, but Dorit’s use of big words and complex phrases do not reflect her on-camera conversations. “The” diametrically “correct answer is, Dorit,” one person wrote, referencing Dorit’s one-time use of the word, “diametrically,” during a season 11 confessional. Others believe that Dorit’s husband PK Kemsley helps to write her witty comebacks, especially the line, “I speak 4 languages and [Garcelle’s excuse] does not make sense in any of them. ”
Kyle Richards
Given that Kyle is the only OG Beverly Hills cast member remaining, fans would be more surprised if Kyle’s confessionals were 100% genuine. While Kyle’s early interviews on RHOBH are considered to be authentic, Redditors now believe that Kyle’s material is pre-written for her. “Kyle probably works it all out with her husband [Mauricio Umansky]” one person theorized, while another person claiming to do freelance work for Bravo explained, “Producers feed them a lot of lines … If it sounds like a line read, chances are it is.” Although some RHOBH stars like Garcelle and Sutton Stracke have been praised for their confessionals, other long-term cast members haven’t been so lucky.
